See photoWhen the teaser of this film was out in May, it became an instant online rage. Now Yash Raj has released the first theatrical of its most anticipated film - Ek Tha Tiger - starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Going by the looks of this it looks impressive and stylish. The trailer, which went live at 12 noon was top trending within hours and already had the twitterati debating whether this film will cross the 200 crore mark. Now, that's the power of a Salman starrer!
Directed by Kabir Khan, of Kabul Express fame, the film speaks about an intelligence agent named Tiger and his story that shook the foundations of a dark world of intelligence and espionage. While Kat was missing in teaser, she is very much there sharing screen space and loads of camaraderie with Salman. Their last outing together was the 2008 release Yuvvraaj.
With the Dabangg Khan having all the action scenes his fans will be waiting to see, those who are looking to see some sparks fly between the once rumoured 'couple' - well, their wish is granted. The couple do have their moments - in the theatrical at least! Sample this: At one point Kat asks Sallu if he's married, to which he retorts: "Direct shaadi? Yeh nahin poochogi ki girlfriend hai ki nahin?" To this Kat says, "Nahin, ab tumhari umar shaadi ki hai!"
